May 9th thru May 11th:
The areas of High Street/Hayward and High Street/Plain Streets will be flushed this week from 6PM-11PM. Side Streets and Subdivisions will be flushed this week from 9AM-11AM.
Now that all wells are connected to the new High Street Water Treatment Plant, the Water Supply Department will begin Spring Hydrant Flushing.
The program will begin on Tuesday May 9, 2023, Flushing is performed to improve the overall long-term quality of the water. The program will run for approximately 12 weeks. The flushing will occur Tuesday-Thursday from 6:00PM-11:00PM, weather permitting.
Please check the town website, Bridgewaterma.org, for areas being flushed.
While the flushing is being performed, there may be a decrease in water pressure. Discoloration may also occur, please plan accordingly. If discoloration continues after flushing, run your cold tap until water runs clear.
