[ARCHIVED] Update- Water has been restored at Lakeshore Dr./Nip area

Turning-off-Exposed-Primary-Water-Shutoff-Valve

The gate has been replaced and water has been restored.

Customers may experience cloudy or dark water.   Running the cold water for 5-10 minutes should clear this up.


Excavation took longer than anticipated due to gas lines close to the water main.  Replacement of the gate has begun.  Water is expected to be restored by 2:00PM.  We apologize for the inconvenience. 


SCHEDULED WATER SHUT OFF

Monday April 4th, 2022


MJD Excavating, Inc will be replacing a Water Gate at the Fruit Street Flex Building on Monday April 4th beginning at 8:00 AM.

 To do so, water will be shut off from 8AM through approximately 11AM.                

When water is turned back on, customers may experience cloudy or dark water.   Running the cold water for 5-10 minutes should clear this up.
