Please be advised that on Tuesday, August 29th, the Bridgewater Water Supply Department will begin its annual hydrant flushing program. Flushing is performed to improve the overall long-term quality of the water. The program will run for approximately 12 weeks. The flushing will occur Tuesday-Friday from 6:00PM-10:00PM, weather permitting.
Please check the town website, Bridgewaterma.org, for areas being flushed and possible time change as weather gets colder.
While flushing is being performed, there may be a decrease in water pressure. Discoloration may also occur, please plan accordingly. If discoloration continues after flushing, run your cold tap until water runs clear.
