Temporary changes to the State’s Election Laws allows early voting by mail for municipal elections held before June 30, 2021.

Voters may vote by Absentee ballot if they are unable to vote at the polls on Election Day because of the following reasons:
- Absence from Town during the hours the polls are open
- Physical disability (the law allows any person taking precautions related to COVID-19 in response to a declared state of emergency or guidance from a medical professional, local or state health official or any civil authority to vote absentee by reason or physical disability)

The Annual Town Election is Saturday, April 24, 2021 and the voting will be held in person at the Bridgewater Mitchell Middle School located at 166 Mount Prospect Street, Bridgewater from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Town Clerk’s Office is open the following hours for voting early/absentee:
Monday thru Thursday: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Late Night: April 5th Open until 8 p.m.
Deadline to apply for early/absentee ballot by mail: Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 5 p.m.
Deadline to apply for absentee ballot in person voting: Friday, April 23, 2021 at Noon
