[ARCHIVED] Weekly update on the NEW High Street Water Treatment Plant

Week of March 15th thru March 19th

*Waterline Industries started 12" CMU block installation for perimeter walls.

*Waterline Industries completed septic leaching bed at the WTP.

*Waterline Industries started excavation and installation gabion stone wall.

*Waterline Industries started wall framing for the maintenance garage addition.

Week of March 8th thru March 12th

*Waterline performed compaction tests, installed under slab conduits/sweeps and water plumbing pipe at maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline installed re-bar and poured concrete floor slab at maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline excavated and installed materials for the leaching bed.

*Waterline completed the  high wall CMU block work at the filter room.

*Waterline started CMU block work for the perimeter exterior WTP walls.

Week of February 19th thru February 25th

*Waterline placed concrete for chemical tank and pump pads.

*Waterline completed foundation footings at the maintenance garage.

*Waterline set forms and poured concrete for foundation walls at the maintenance garage.

*Waterline started CMU block work around the filter room.

Week of February 12th thru February 19th

*Waterline completed filter walkway slab and 16-ft diameter filter tank concrete pads at filter room.

*Waterline formed and placed concrete footings for the maintenance garage, break room and bathroom addition.

*Waterline installed scaffolding for masonry walls around filter room.

Week of January 29th thru February 5th

*Waterline continues installation of electrical conduits under floor slabs at pump and electrical rooms.

*Waterline is placing structural fill and compacting for the floor slabs at the filter room.

*Waterline will start installation of electrical conduit and rebar under concrete floor slab in filter room.

Week of January 21st thru January 28th

*Waterline continues installation of electrical conduits under floor slabs at pump and electrical rooms.

*Waterline has completed plumbing for all under slab tubing and floor drains within the building.

*Waterline completed concrete floor slabs in control, chemical, garage rooms and the 18" filter slab.

*Waterline completed the retaining wall.

*All concrete work has been performed in accordance to ACI 306R-16 Cold Weather Concreting.

Week of January 7th thru January 14th

*Waterline completed frost walls and interior walls

*Waterline continued backfill with structural fill and compaction within the building.

*Waterline installed under slab plumbing pipe and floor drains in west section of the building.

*Waterline installed 6" of 3/4" stone for slab on grade for the west section of the building.

*Waterline completed formwork and rebar for the exterior wall along the E-line.

*Waterline installed electrical conduits between the control room to electric room.

Week of December 24 thru December 31st

*Waterline continued forming, pouring, and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 70% complete to date.

*Waterline continued to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 75% complete.

Week of December 17th thru December 23th

*Waterline Industries continued forming, pouring and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 60% complete to date.  Waterline is using Thawzall hydronic heating system and insulation blankets to allow for cold weather concrete placement.

*Waterline Industries continued to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 65% complete to date.

Week of December 10th thru December 17th

*Waterline Industries continues forming, pouring, and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 55% complete to date

*Waterline Industries installing under slab plumbing pipe at mechanical, washroom, lab and break rooms

*Waterline Industries continues to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 50% complete to date

*Construction site closed on Thursday December 17th due to weather.  Waterline Industries will resume construction on site Monday December 21st and will work a typical 4-day work week

Week of December 2nd thru December 9th

Waterline Industries continues:

*Forming, pouring and stripping frost walls and interior walls

*To place and tie rebar for frost walls and interior walls

*To excavate for retaining wall subgrade

*To set retaining wall blocks, approximately 40% complete to date

Week of November 12 thru November 19th

Waterline Industries has:

*Begun excavation for the retaining wall

*Poured concrete footings and flume and backwash sump slab on grades

*Stripped forms at prior poured footings

*Has begun placing and tying rebar for frost walls and wall along E-line

*Placed backfill around footings

*Poured concrete for slab on grade at chemical feed area
