[ARCHIVED] Weekly update on the NEW High Street Water Treatment Plant


Week of December 24 thru December 31st

*Waterline continued forming, pouring, and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 70% complete to date.

*Waterline continued to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 75% complete.

Week of December 17th thru December 23th

*Waterline Industries continued forming, pouring and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 60% complete to date.  Waterline is using Thawzall hydronic heating system and insulation blankets to allow for cold weather concrete placement.

*Waterline Industries continued to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 65% complete to date.

Week of December 10th thru December 17th

*Waterline Industries continues forming, pouring, and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 55% complete to date

*Waterline Industries installing under slab plumbing pipe at mechanical, washroom, lab and break rooms

*Waterline Industries continues to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 50% complete to date

*Construction site closed on Thursday December 17th due to weather.  Waterline Industries will resume construction on site Monday December 21st and will work a typical 4-day work week

Week of December 2nd thru December 9th

Waterline Industries continues:

*Forming, pouring and stripping frost walls and interior walls

*To place and tie rebar for frost walls and interior walls

*To excavate for retaining wall subgrade

*To set retaining wall blocks, approximately 40% complete to date

Week of November 12 thru November 19th

Waterline Industries has:

*Begun excavation for the retaining wall

*Poured concrete footings and flume and backwash sump slab on grades

*Stripped forms at prior poured footings

*Has begun placing and tying rebar for frost walls and wall along E-line

*Placed backfill around footings

*Poured concrete for slab on grade at chemical feed area
