[ARCHIVED] Town-Wide Water Meter Replacement Program

The Water Department has initiated a mandatory program to upgrade all Town water meter to a cellular read meter reading system. Which means that all residential water meters in Town will need to be replaced with these new cellular meters. The Water Department has hired a third party vendor, Mass Installation Inc. (MII), to install theses meters. The program will continue until all residential meters have been replaced.

Notices will be sent to all residents to schedule appointments when the company reaches your section of Town.  Please call the 800 number on the notice to schedule an appointment to have your meter replaced.  If a resident does not respond to the flyer, Mass Installation may go door to door to attempt to schedule an appointment.

This meter replacement is at no cost to the homeowner's that already have existing Town water meters in their homes.

If people have questions or concerns they can call the Water Department directly at 508-697-0910.
