The Town of Bridgewater's Animal Control Officer is responsible for investigating nuisance complaints, enforcing animal control by-laws; as well as M.G.L. chapter 140 laws, removing sick or injured wildlife: determine risk of rabies exposure and need for testing.
We are dedicated to promoting public safety and general welfare in the Town of Bridgewater through administration and enforcement of applicable codes for building, plumbing, gas, wiring, and zoning, insuring accuracy for weights and measures, and providing all these services in the most professional and helpful manner.
The Town of Bridgewater does not maintain parking tickets. Any parking ticket inquires or payments of parking tickets need to be referred to the Plymouth County Parking Office.
The Town of Bridgewater does not provide curbside pickup for trash removal. Bridgewater has a Transfer Station, operated under the Health Department, residents can bring there trash and recycling for disposal.
All functions of the Sewer Department are governed by rules and regulations approved by the Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners. The department is responsible for all Wastewater Treatment Plant operations.
