The Town Manager is seeking volunteers to serve on an ad-hoc committee to advise the Town Council on issues related to recreational marijuana, including whether the Town should regulate retail establishments. The committee can have up to ten members who must be Bridgewater residents. The committee may serve for up to sixteen months, and meetings will likely be held once or twice per month.
The mission of the committee is to identify the issues associated with the retail sales of marijuana in the Town of Bridgewater and suggest possible solutions, including recommendations on the promulgation of ordinances and regulations. The committee should be prepared to meet with the Council every three months to update the Council on its progress.
